After watching a local Oregon series about an untouched wild hike, through a place with no trails searching for a great waterfall, I decided I needed to see this waterfall. The devils staircase is a waterfall in the coast range of Oregon. Taking almost five hours to hike into the waterfall and almost no trail to follow this hike had me intrigued from the minute that I heard about it. Research is underway now to get the maps and study the area. It is said to be running the best in the spring, and I would love to hit it right after the snow melt. Im goin to Photograph the waterfall using a long exposure shot (leaving the lens open for a period of time gives you a flow effect into your waterfall photo).
